I have a secret.
I have read somewhere that an introvert enjoys being alone. I can say that it’s very true, most of the time.
It’s not that I want to be alone though. It’s just being okay with “being alone”. You get to spend the time others would spend being “out” by doing productive things like reading, drawing, writing, etc. It’s actually pretty cool if you think about it.
But not all the time.
There are times when it gets cold and lonely.
It’s the sad sinking feeling of wanting to be with someone, or just anyone, not even in a romantic way but to just feel the presence of having someone else with you, and nobody seems to be available.
Nobody seems to be there.
She’s The One.
She’s the one.
She the one that is way too tall.
She’s the one that has a voice not fit for a girl.
She’s the one with legs that are too fat.
She’s the one with arms that are too fat.
And finally, she’s the one we don’t want to be friends with, if we didn’t know her.
Day by day, you constantly point out everything that is wrong with me, as if it was supposed to be a daily reminder.
Did it ever occur to you, that I already am aware of everything you’re picking out?
Did it even cross your mind, that maybe, I didn’t want to be reminded?
You remind me what I tried to forget growing up.
